Team-GIS Directory allows you to:

• Provide your users with a secure, centrally managed tool for accessing the company's GIS data. 
• Seamlessly connect users to ArcSDE using their user ID credentials, rather than those stored in the ArcGIS layer file.
• Provide easy access to metadata for ArcGIS layer files, their underlying datasets or ArcMap project files (MXDs).
• Supports FDGC and ISO metadata standard, as well as custom stylesheets.
• Preview the contents of MXDs without opening the projects in ArcMap. 

Supported data formats

• Vector layers: shapefiles, coverages, ArcGIS layer files.
• Raster layers: TIFF, GeoTIFF, PNG, IMG, ESRI GRID, JPG, JP2, GIF, BMP, SID, ArcGIS layer files and layer packages*.
