Team-GIS Segment Analyst: Key Features
Convert proxy layers to risk or probability
Assign numeric risk or probability values to both descriptive and numeric geological data. Use proxy layers such as structure maps, isochores, net to gross, geochemical data, gross depositional environment (GDE) or paleogeography layers to represent key petroleum system elements.
Single or multiple layers with similar geographic extents can be processed to produce risk or probability layers for key petroleum system elements such as presence of reservoir, source or seal.
Overlapping layers can be merged based on a data ranking preference to ensure that only a single value is assigned to any given play fairway segment.
Create common risk segments
Once individual petroleum system element risk maps have been created they can be combined into a common risk segment map for the play.
Outputs comprise multi-attributed vector format output for maintaining a full audit trail on the component risks, as well as rasters of individual risk combinations such as sum, product, min, max, mean and combined probability.
