E&P GIS Training
ArcGIS ModelBuilder for Petroleum
|
Duration: 1 day |
This course introduces Esri's “Model Builder” to automate geoprocessing operations within ArcGIS Desktop and provides you with the skills to use, modify and build geoprocessing models. Models chain together geoprocessing tasks to create reusable workflows that can be executed multiple times and consequently offer the potential for significant productivity gains to users.
Model Builder is an easy to use, graphical programming environment for creating processes requiring several tasks to derive results in which:
- Each of the tasks within a model can be an ArcToolbox tool, an existing model or a script
- The output of one task can be used as the input to another task
- Models can be embedded in other models and scripts
- Models can be executed from the ModelBuilder window, from the tool dialog or the command line
- Models are stored within toolboxes in ArcToolbox
CPD accreditation
Completing this course allows you to collect 4 AGI CPD points towards your professional development.
