Exprodat, the supplier of oil and gas GIS services, software and training will chair a panel discussion at the forthcoming Esri European Petroleum GIS Conference 2014 to explore the state of GIS within the industry.
In early November, the Congress Centre in central London will once again see hundreds of Esri users from the oil and gas user community come together to learn about the latest geospatial developments, share ideas and network.
The panel discussion, moderated by Exprodat’s Thierry Gregorius, is set to be a key highlight of the event, featuring panellists representing oil & gas operators in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Australia.
The session will also debate, hot off the press, the long-awaited results of Exprodat’s 2014 industry benchmark survey which rates organisational GIS maturity across many oil & gas operators worldwide.
Explaining more about the aims of the panel discussion, Thierry commented: “this session is promising to be highly informative and interactive as we bring together industry experts and the audience to discuss geospatial trends, lessons and best practices specific to the Petroleum sector. In addition to the excellent user presentations at the conference this new session format will hopefully not just provide new insights but also a bit of entertainment.”
Additional Exprodat staff will be manning their stand at the exhibition that will run alongside the conference. Visitors will be able to find out more about the GIS-based services, software and training that Exprodat provides to the oil and gas industry.
The Esri European Petroleum GIS Conference 2014 will be held at the Congress Centre, 28 Great Russell Street, London between 6th and 7th November 2014.
