Exprodat, the oil and gas services, software and training supplier, has extended its partnership with the GIS training specialist TeachMeGIS to provide another series of geosciences courses at their dedicated training facilities in Houston, Texas.
During August 2014, specialist training staff from Exprodat will run three courses; Basin and Play Analysis for Petroleum, Surface Analysis for Petroleum and Image Analysis for Petroleum at the TeachMeGIS training facilities.
Both Exprodat (Booth #607) and TeachMeGIS (Booth #723) will be attending the forthcoming Esri Petroleum GIS Conference 2014 meeting in Houston so visitors to this conference will be able to find out more about the courses first-hand.
Jennifer Harrison, President of TeachMeGIS commented on the relationship between the two companies and how it benefits trainees “TeachMeGIS and Exprodat have quickly established a very rewarding partnership, at the ground level and in our shared aspirations to improve the way we pass on knowledge to the E&P GIS community.
Working with Exprodat means that we can extend the range of courses that we offer E&P professionals, to further their use of GIS in support of key exploration workflows. TeachMeGIS has local knowledge about the industry’s diverse training requirements and the relationship with Exprodat is helping to plug some of the gaps.
In the future, we hope to collaborate on new course content, to better serve market needs and together, offer a more holistic training programme.”
