After successfully completing the 2009 3-Peaks Challenge, Exprodat’s ‘Team GIS’ walking team has set their sights on a fresh challenge by taking part in the Oxfam Trailtrekker starting 4th June 2011. The event is a 65km trek for teams of 4, run over 30 hours across the Yorkshire Dales and includes more than 1500 metres of ascent.
This year an estimated 250 teams will be taking part, all raising money to help people in poverty. The route is challenging, and requires great determination and teamwork.
Exprodat’s team are aiming to raise at least £5,000 for Oxfam, with the company matching each donation pound for pound (see the team’s progress on the fundraising leaderboard).
